Pastor

Reverend John S. Carpenter holds a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from California State University, Chico, a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA ,and a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA.

Pastor John began his ministry here at Oakville in February of 1995. He and his wife, Mary, and his daughters Hannah (14) and Heidi (10) feel very blessed to be part of the Oakville Church family.

Church Secretary

Linda Boyd joined our staff at the beginning of the year 2007. She has a background in office work and has previously worked in a church office.  Linda is a longtime resident of the area and is a graduate of Oregon State University, as is her husband, Patrick, and both of their children, Joseph and Kelly. Linda and daughter, Kelly, enjoy raising and showing their dogs (Siberian Huskies).
